Reporting to the Head of Global Campaign and Engagement Marketing, the Director of Global Campaign Marketing - Design & Web will be responsible for leading Adobe’s global integrated marketing strategies and plans to drive adoption, growth and scale for Adobe’s Creative Cloud Design & Web business. He/she will lead a cross-functional marketing team across Global Marketing and the Creative Cloud business unit to develop marketing strategies and campaign plans aligned to Adobe’s overall go-to market and annual recurring revenue (ARR) goals. This role will oversee the execution and measurement of marketing programs for acquisition, retention and upsell in partnership with functional teams within the Global Marketing organization (PR, Social, Media, Engagement Marketing and Marketing Insights), as well as Regional Marketing (Americas, EMEA, Japan, APAC) teams.
He/she will guide the development of actionable and innovative marketing strategies for the Design & Web segments, and will continuously evolve and improve those strategies through ongoing experimentation and iterative learning. As the global campaign leader for the Design & Web segment, the Director of Global Campaign - Design & Web will set the campaign approach and operating model globally, while also advocating for Regional Marketing at headquarters and ensuring that regionals teams have the tools and funding they need to localize their marketing programs successfully.
Success in this role is tied directly to the subscriptions and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) goals for Adobe’s Creative Cloud business and to the ROI of marketing programs.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a strong background in integrated marketing and proven success driving and executing complex global marketing initiatives. Proven success running campaign or a related integrated marketing function for a large global SaaS business is a plus.
Responsibilities
Define the overall campaign strategy and drive an integrated marketing plan, investment and marketing mix recommendations aligned with the Adobe’s business goals, go-to-market strategy and plan.
Demonstrate business and market level expertise in the Creative space.
Lead a cross functional team (across Global Marketing and the Creative Cloud Business Unit) to develop marketing programs that build awareness, drive demand and promote active use, retention and upsell among paid subscribers.
Act as the steward of the customer and ensure a consistent 360-degree customer experience across all marketing channels and surfaces.
Orchestrate the execution of the marketing campaign plan by partnering closely with key functional teams, including PR, Social, Media, Engagement Marketing, Studio, Marketing Insights and Regional Marketing.
Scale campaign approach and operating model globally and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure consistency in execution and outcome.
Develop and maintain a campaign measurement framework. Define campaign- and program-level KPIs and ensure on-going review and adjustment in alignment with marketing funnel KPIs and business KPIs around acquisition, usage, retention and upsell.
Develop credibility and relationships with key stakeholders across Adobe including executives within Global Marketing and the Creative Cloud Business Unit.
Manage a team of Senior Campaign Segment Managers.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience creating, executing and leading global corporate marketing initiatives in the tech industry.
Proven track record of results working in competitive markets and building differentiated programs that achieve business results.
Strategic thinker with ability to build creative integrated marketing campaigns combined with operational know-how to ensure excellence in execution.
Agile and experimental marketer with a proven background optimizing campaigns through iterative testing and learning.
Data-driven leader who maps analytics and customer insights to drive marketing strategy and decision making.
Excellent communications and influence skills. Must be able to present to and influence senior executive and persuade cross functional stakeholders across the company.
