As Director of Marketing, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of River City Bank. Our strategic vision is to become Sacramento’s premier business bank, and you will lead every facet of our B2B marketing as we continue on this journey. You will plan and execute our signature events, and help shape the voice of River City Bank within the business community.
We are looking for a detail oriented, enthusiastic, creative and analytical marketer with event management experience to lead the River City Bank Marketing Team. You will have the opportunity to help us navigate through a new era of banking while joining one of the most trusted, financially strong and fastest growing banks in California.

Responsibilities
Plans, manages, and oversees the marketing function for the bank; directs and facilitates development of marketing and measurement plans within the strategic framework. Prepares the strategic plan and the business development plan.
Manages daily operational activities and administration of the department including: monitoring overall effectiveness of marketing efforts; ongoing analysis of market data; preparing analytical reports and making recommendations.
Supervises department staff; ensures a competent, motivated staff through hiring, training, counseling, supervising, and reviewing performance of employees.
Plans, directs and executes the marketing of new and existing products and services.
Develops, directs and implements the overall marketing effort company wide.
Develops, creates and executes marketing programs to support bank objectives.
Develops and implements processes for developing and maintaining Marketing information, product development, product management and pricing analysis.
Defines, structures and oversees all advertising and promotional efforts.
Directs and oversees the coordination of community events and company participation.
Manages public relations efforts, such as image development, contributions and media relations.

Desired Skills and Experience
BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field or the equivalent in experience.
Six years of related experience, including event planning and supervisory responsibilities.
Demonstrated creative, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
Computer literacy including spreadsheets, word processing and database management.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
