Job description
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Marketing drives and directly contributes to all of the marketing activities for Puralytics products. She/he develops marketing strategies, analyzes market opportunities, defines product requirements, evaluates market conditions and develops and implements sales and marketing tools to encourage maximum sales activity.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, maintain, and implement marketing strategies to meet agreed upon company objectives. Conduct customer research, market and competitor analysis, and develop product requirements and market strategies to introduce, promote, position, and support product sales.
Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
Demonstrate leadership in technical marketing skills and expertise in company product knowledge.

Conduct and maintain strategic market analysis of market segments where Puralytics products are currently participating, including decentralized drinking water, developing world and disaster response, recreational and emergency preparedness, industrial process water, and stormwater.
Develop market and product requirement documents for new and existing products. Develop feature, technology, and product roadmaps for each product family, currently including the Shield, SolarBag, and LilyPad product lines.
Conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.
Develop and push product introduction and marketing activities through internal and external channels.
Manage and directly contribute to all media and advertising initiatives including Facebook, website, Twitter, Newsletter, articles, google ads, tradeshows, etc. with innovative and productive contributions. Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media and develop metrics to show impact on sales and customer mindshare.
Develop sales and support tools in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe, and Publisher and publish appropriately as brochures, online, presentations, digital storage and other formats.
Develop an annual marketing plan as a part of the executive team detailing the year’s activities to meet agreed company objectives. To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget.

Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. MBA preferred. At least five years of experience in a relevant marketing leadership role within the water industry required.
Experience in water purification or related technical product marketing and support.
Familiarity with water purification product certification standards and requirements, including ANSI/NSF, UL, CE, EPA, WHO, etc.
International work and travel experience. Foreign language fluency valued.
