Job description
The Director I of Sales Applications will drive the application architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of SanDisk’s internal CRM strategy. The candidate must possess excellent leadership skills, be a pro-active solution-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, cross-organizational collaboration, teamwork and business relationship skills are essential to be successful in this role.
Must have the ability to reason logically and creatively, identifying problems, drawing valid conclusions from the data available, and developing effective solutions while applying creative thinking in the design and development of high performing Sales Applications. Will be responsible for owning, developing, and executing on the day-day configuration, reporting, training, support, maintenance and improvement of the CRM and other Sales Applications. Will be the liaison between the Executive Sales and Marketing Management and the IT team to work with all end-users to ensure the applications meets expectations and to continually improve the system.
Desired Skills and Experience
Responsibilities include:
-Owner of Sales Applications and primary CRM strategist
- Manage Projects pipeline, budgets, multi-site teams and execution
-Own and nurture Business relationships at various levels
-Present regular updates and IT strategies
- Architect next generation solution roadmap for a rapidly evolving Sales business that includes Retail, Commercial and Enterprise
-Provide leadership to teams supporting web, portal and marketing tools/applications
-Attend industry conferences and present at Industry conferences
- Build a best-in-class Sales Application Portfolio that will ensure industry leadership for SanDisk
- Future areas of growth and ownership could include mobility, collaboration tools and data analytics
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Solid experience in CRM space – should be platform agnostic. Ability to take on other areas and technologies, integrating them seamlessly in the execution portfolio.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and .net platform is a plus.
Fearless technical tinkerer with a strong drive towards innovation.
Must have expert knowledge of and solid experience with service-oriented architectures.
Proficient at identifying and resolving common web application issues related to scale, performance, and security.
Execution focused with solid budget management experience.
-Deep understanding of architectural principles and experience with CRM frameworks

-Ability to support multiple projects at the same time

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science or Business Administration
Minimum of ten years in High Performance Computing environment
Minimum of five years in the Data Storage Industry
Experience in managing and delivering projects leveraging off-shore teams
7+ years management/leadership experience
