Director - Client Solutions - Creative Partnerships - NBCUniversal - Los Angeles


Job description
The Director, Creative Partnerships, is part of a team that develops and produces content that seamlessly connects an advertiser's marketing goals with NBC intellectual property.
Reporting to the VP, NBC Creative Partnerships, this position facilitates and oversees the production process from start to finish. In addition, they work closely with the East Coast NBC Entertainment Client Solutions team as well as internal NBC programming and production partners.
Serving as the West Coast point of contact with other departments, the position ensures communication between all appropriate groups including, but not limited to the following: NBC sales/sales marketing, NBC Marketing, programming, PR, Legal, Business Affairs, show producers and studios. Responsibilities:
Function as the early point of contact for projects, managing the workflow from idea generation to greenlight, through production and post.

Serve as departmental expert on all facets of production, managing all logistics and processes, including and not limited to all SAG/AFTRA agreements, business and legal affairs, budgets, and timelines. The position is a key adviser to all outside production partners and internal creative teams.
Ensure strong collaboration with NBC sales, NBC Entertainment client solutions, and NBCU Client Solutions teams serving the advertiser relationship and NBC account strategies.
Establish positive and effective relationships with show runners, producers, and studio marketing executives, working in tandem with current programming executives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programming schedule and production plans, identifying organic opportunities for sponsorships, partnerships and marketing tactics.
Assist with the conception, writing, and pitching of presentation and advertiser partnerships in coordination with internal creative teams.

Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years experience in entertainment industry marketing and/or production, with preference for television experience.

Outstanding creative and strategic marketing skills, and an entrepreneurial personality.
Must have proven experience managing both large and small scale productions.
Must have a demonstrated track record in comprehensive marketing campaigns and the development of successful partnerships and creative concepts as well as strong organizational and exceptional writing skills.
Production experience is mandatory.
