Vice President - Corporate Sales - Apttus - San Mateo


Job description
Apttus is seeking a Vice President for our Corporate Sales organization. As Vice President – Corporate Sales (North America), you will be responsible for a team of Directors, Corporate Account Executives and Install Base Account Executives, reporting in to the Senior Vice President of Sales. You will be expected to play a key role as you lead this highly visible and motivated team that generates revenues from companies up to $200 Million in revenues. The position is based in San Mateo, CA.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Leading a team of up to 3 Directors and 20 Corporate Account Executives; developing strategy, territory assignments and executing on the assigned sales number, leveraging corporate resources as required
Ongoing mentoring and development of sales leadership team which includes strategy, hiring and managing a team
Conducting weekly meetings for forecasting, account planning, coaching on strategies to drive closure, etc.
Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
Driving Salesforce relationships to increase deal traction.
Consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results
Exceeding teams annual sales quota


Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 5 years of management experience in enterprise software solutions
A proven track record of driving sales teams to meet and exceed their numbers Bachelor’s Degree
Consistent overachievement of quota with a strong W2 track record
Strategic account planning and execution skills
Strong technical, financial and business acumen
Commitment to long-term customer success
Ability to sell both application and deployment of platform
Strong operational rigor and time management skills
Ability to sell and influence C-suite and executive presence
Professional network within territory
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to maintain high productivity levels while managing multiple competing priorities
Consultative sales skills and ability to construct and articulate strong business case and ROI, Strategic account planning and execution skills
