Senior Director, SaaS Service Leader
This role will help shape and deliver the global strategy for the SaaS Service Center, developing, driving and growing the service portfolio. This role requires expertise in leadership, strategic thinking, thought leadership and SaaS experience within a global organization. This role manages a team of managers and senior individual contributors in technical roles supporting SaaS applications. In this capacity, sets direction for the entire team; deciding strategic direction and priorities, making key tradeoff decisions on scope, influencing business roadmaps and strategies, partnering with the business to drive new service offering, and working across the broader IT team to provide solutions and services.

This role is critical in helping to determine the SaaS strategy in the new ITaaS model and will be responsible for creating services and programs for the SaaS Service Center that produces a diverse portfolio and service offering. This role will be required to not only have a pulse on industry trends, but also a deep understanding of SaaS and the ITaaS model in order to solve complex business issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Management responsibilities for the service delivery of SaaS applications across the Federation.
Drive strategic partnerships, demand and growth of services working closely with Business Unit and IT leadership.
In Partnership with finance, manage the overall CapEx and Opex spend and targets for the year and reports this out to the key program sponsors as required.
This role is accountable for customer satisfaction, capacity management, operational policies, organizational goals and standards and metrics for the service(s).
Responsibility for SaaS Service platforms and strategies, leading a global team of professionals, and manages a budget between $2-$10M
Interface with the EMC IT Leadership team, EMC Business Unit Leadership teams, Demand Centers and external partners and vendors. SaaS Service Center decisions will impact functions within IT - i.e. IT Proven, management of SaaS platforms relative to traditional OTS or custom apps, cloud security strategies for apps, etc. as well as other theatres such as GS and the Services transformation.
Keep a pulse on industry trends, but also a deep understanding of how to apply technology and the ITaaS model in order to solve complex business issues.
This role requires the ability to influence senior leaders to champion services consumption, and drive center and portfolio growth.
The role will have the ability to communicate and translate organizational strategy as critical to the future EMC IT.

Desired Skills and Experience
Deep understanding of SaaS in an IT as a Service model.
Proven leadership experience in a global and highly matrixed environment with the ability to influence senior leaders to champion SaaS services consumption, and drive center and portfolio growth.
Ability to communicate and translate organizational strategy as critical to the future IT and SaaS strategy of EMC.
Expertise in leadership, strategic thinking, and thought leadership within a global organization.
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred.
15+ years of professional experience and 10+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people management and development skill (or equivalent experience)
