Senior Director - Channel Sales - Kofax - Orange County
Job description
Job Purpose:
Drive channel sales strategy, channel management and development, and revenue with Kofax partners globally. This role is responsible for identifying, recruiting, enabling and working with Kofax Channel Partners and resellers to drive new business and indirect revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Kofax’s Channel Sales team in managing over 800 channel partners globally
Create and implement a channel sales strategy and territory plan to achieve indirect revenue targets, representing over 50% of Kofax’s software license revenue, and provide accurate and timely management of information and revenue forecasts
Drive partner recruitment initiatives to support Kofax’s expanding product portfolio and strategic direction
Working with Channel Marketing, identify and develop joint “go-to-market” strategies and demand generation activities with Channel Partners
Develop strategic alignment with Kofax Field Sales, and ensure strong collaborative relationships between Field Sales Reps and Channel Partners
Foster partner participation and collaboration in key corporate initiatives, including partner advisory council, customer user conference, and marketing events
Desired Skills and Experience
Requires 8-10 years of channel sales leadership level experience in the information management software, business application software, or capture/content management software industry.
Strategic thinker and contributor. Ability to communicate and influence at an executive level both internally and externally.
Ability to create and execute successful channel strategies that will support revenue growth across current and emerging products.
Results oriented.
Effective influence, communication, leadership, motivational and management skills, especially in managing remote sales teams.
Skilled at understanding market needs and effectively communicating to product marketing/management, to obtain the product features necessary to achieve revenue goals. Ability to travel enough to achieve sales revenue targets
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in defining goals and objectives for the assigned business.
Global sales experience.
