Senior Director - Business Acceptance Testing - Aetna - Hartford


Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
As the business lead, this position will be accountable for the development of all End-to-End Business Testing solutions in support of Aetna Consumer Business. Responsibilities include the following: works with advisors from key functional areas to understand potential project impact on the organization, align project work, manage business process enhancement, and execute activities accordingly. Manages the scope of the project activities, builds contingency plans, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution to mitigate risks such as scope changes and issues. Evaluates project activities utilizing quality measurements and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations and integrate with overall program effort.



Fundamental Components:
We are looking for a talented and motivated senior director who works well in a matrixed team environment and has held leadership positions in the delivery of successful End-to-End Business Testing implementation. This individual will have very strong project management skills, application delivery experience, along with exceptional communication and analytical skills. Experience with formal project development methodologies and processes are a must. Specific attention to detail while focusing on the overall strategy and vision will be key to success. Solid understanding and experience with project financials and resource planning needed. Healthcare industry background along with exposure to one or more industry recognized vendors is a critical.

Telework Specifications:
Option for telework will be evaluated after a certain period of employment

Required Skills:
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
A minimum of 7-10 years of successful leadership/management experience
Experience managing a team and actively developing talent with an ability to motivate employees
Hands-on, detailed oriented and performance process-focused
Experience with implementation and building is a necessity
Experience with End-to-End Business Testing is critical.


EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
