Product Director - Consumer Digital Technoloy - Nike - Portland

As our Product Director, Consumer Analytics & Digital Marketing Technology, you'll work as part of the Consumer Digital Technology organization to support Nike's cutting edge consumer connectivity, customization, and commerce efforts. You'll contribute to emerging technologies in data architecture, development and analytics. Your primary responsibility will be to define and implement innovative and customer-centric features related to analyzing, modeling, managing and integrating data, serving the digital consumer insights and CRM functions. You'll be integral in designing and implementing Nike’s next generation consumer data, analytics and digital marketing platform used to power personalized consumer experiences across all touch-points. As the Product Leader for the analytics platform, you will define the Product/Platform roadmap and work in partnership with the Director of Engineering, Architect and key business analytic organization leaders.

Here is a partial list of responsibilities of this role:
Lead, develop, and evangelize the Consumer Analytics and Digital Marketing Technology roadmap considering business strategy, technology and competitive trends.
Act as the liaison between cross-functional groups by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved through technical data and analytic solutions.
Understand business goals, IT strategies, and analytic and data industry trends to develop comprehensive technology strategies and roadmap(s).
Provide leadership in the evaluation, conceptualization, design, and development of major new capabilities, ensuring that technology choices and tradeoffs anticipate future needs while efficiently satisfying short term requirements.
Serve as expert on business process and system integration for the direct to consumer digital organizations for Brand, Sport and Commerce.
Lead project initiation efforts to turn business data and analytics needs into viable solutions. This includes developing high level architecture and costs, and collecting business benefits to build the appropriate business cases.
Lead capability/product management strategic and operational planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
Define, implement, and manage intake, prioritization and release timing balancing demand with available resources.
Provide leadership and oversight on project management and execution. Oversee coordination and partnership with engineering teams to develop and maintain data warehousing architectures, models, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
Successfully gain endorsement from both the technical and business management communities for new and compelling BI/DW strategies and roadmaps.

Desired Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For

To make it clear, we're not looking for just anyone. We're looking for someone special, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years of IT industry work experience including business systems analysis, solution design, and deployment of enterprise business intelligence and data warehousing and management applications.
5+ years leading development and delivery of data and analytic solutions.
A strong technology background combined with business/operational consumer and marketing data
Experience with broad range of data analysis methods and tools, preference towards open source big data and next generational platforms like AWS, Hadoop, R/Python, combined with traditional analytic tools such as Cognos, Tableau, SAS
Ability to gather, analyze, assimilate and translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that comply with defined architectural principles and standards and that enhance the business process
Communicates effectively with technical specialists, strategists, developers, project managers, business and technology leaders
Must possess a high degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT related concepts effectively with senior level management.
Proven track record of:
Delivering results in building and managing digital marketing and consumer analytics solutions
Conceptualization and influencing of transformational architectural and application strategy
Thinking and planning strategically, with ability to communicate the strategy to a large organization
Strong skills in team leadership and building positive stakeholder and peer relationships including the ability to work across organizational boundaries
Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment.
Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation
