What does a Director, Territory Geek Squad do?
The Director, Territory Geek Squad is accountable for the end to end financial results of Geek Squad (Autotech, Precinct, USO, and related services fulfillment) within the assigned territory of 176 store locations. You will direct a team of Sr. Manager, Market Geek Squad leaders and deliver a world class client experience in all channels, including in store and in home.
As the Director, Territory Geek Squad you will:
Be accountable for end to end execution of Geek Squad business results including but not limited to sales, fulfillment, cost control, profitability for both in store and in home Geek Squad channels and Appliance delivery and Install within the territory.
Integrate Geek Squad strategies with sales strategies to ensure execution while supporting BBY US selling, operational and expense strategies.
Be responsible for maximizing return on investment, profit & loss, daily operations, and people development of the Sr. Manager, Market Geek Squad (5+).
Build and sustain an environment/culture that fosters trust, innovation, collaboration, and empowerment for both in-home and in store Geek Squad.
Communicate regularly with Territory leaders (TGMs) and other Territory, Market, and District Managers regarding business priorities and plans. Teach, coach, and drive shared responsibility for corporate led initiatives.
Lead and develop team members with coaching, training, career counseling and direct performance development through use of business performance and personal development goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
What are the Professional Requirements of a Director, Territory Geek Squad?
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
5 years management experience including Supervision of direct/indirect reports
3 years multi-unit management experience with responsibility for financial results (including sales, margin, profitability)
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or above in Business, Management or related field
Previous experience implementing and driving business execution for a multi-unit business (including in home and in store service/fulfillment)
