Portfolio Director - PTC - Boston
Job description
The Global Services Portfolio team defines and manages the portfolio of consulting and training offerings for a growing $300M global business with a focus on ensuring PTC clients realize value from their investment in PTC Solutions.
The Internet of Things Portfolio Lead sets the strategic direction for this line of services business, and is the primary communication interlock between various Global Services groups and other departments within PTC.
This role reports into the Senior Director, Global Services Portfolio.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Working with various constituents, including product management, marketing, business development/sales and customers, to derive an aligned view on a prioritized list of portfolio offerings.
Converting the portfolio requirements into a development roadmap with aggressive delivery commitments.
Overseeing the development of portfolio offerings being developed by subject matter experts.
Launching portfolio items via existing channels, including Marketing and Services Academy (internal training).
Measuring the investment and financial performance of portfolio offerings using reports generated by Global Services Operations.
Providing feedback to the various constituents on the effectiveness of the portfolio.
Positioning, and driving the successful adoption of, the portfolio within the PTC eco-system.
Profile
The candidate we are looking for will have the following profile at a minimum:
5+ years of experience consulting in product development and/or service industry software solutions.
3+ years of experience with the Internet of Things / Smart, Connected Products (required).
Some experience with ThingWorx and/or Axeda Products (preferred).
Demonstrated success in driving consensus and leading change efforts across teams and organizations.
Experience in guiding projects through a complete lifecycle (inception through retirement).
Experience with implementing metrics and key performance indicators.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of professional experience.
