Marketing Director of Demand Generation

The Marketing Director of Demand Generation is a highly visible role that is responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities in the sales funnel. The primary responsibility of the role is to execute campaigns based on the SiriusDecisions Campaign Framework across all four programs (reputation, demand creation, sales enablement and market intelligence) and utilizing all relevant tactics. In this role, you will also act as a liaison between marketing, sales and product teams. The role will report to the Senior Director of Field Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute integrated Campaigns that achieve pipeline, lead and database growth goals
Set strategy and execute on outbound demand creation programs including email, direct response and teleprospecting
Evaluate, select and manage list vendors that contribute to customer and prospect data including list research, segmentation, targeting and reporting
Own and manage the field marketing budget to optimize program investments and achieve desired ROI
Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
Manage and map communications across demand creation, event management and sales enablement tactics
Collaborate with stakeholders (field and inside sales team, EMEA field marketing, digital marketing, product management and marketing, sales enablement, events and operations) to develop a cohesive marketing strategy that ensures objectives are met
Support collateral management by tracking important collateral so marketing is up-to-date with what is current in inventory and usable; keep up to date as content changes
Perform research on best practices relating to all processes and technologies and bring new ideas to the table

Desired Skills and Experience

BS/BA from accredited four-year institution
Eight or more years in b-to-b marketing
Three or more years in a similar role with decisions scope over demand generation programs
Experience working with SiriusDecisions concepts
Proven knowledge and expertise in campaign management: inbound and outbound tactics, events management, lead coordination and sales enablement
Ability to align tactical plans with strategies Power User of Marketing Automation
Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales; actual sales experience is highly desirable
Ability to demonstrate track record of success in all key areas of responsibility
Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
