Directors - Partner Sales - Thinking Phone Networks - Boston


Job description
The role of the Director of Partner Sales is to work with thinkingphones’ partner community in order to capture sales opportunities while managing all aspects of the partner business in their respective region.
Responsibilities:
Recruit new partners and manage existing partners for thinkingphones
Build a solid partner base that generates a consistent and repeatable funnel of opportunities
Be involved with deals in the region; be an asset to the Area VP of Sales and the Business Development Managers
Ongoing partner support and investment
Demonstrate initiative and be a self-starter in a fast paced environment
Work closely with area sales management on development and execution of a sales strategy
Participate in planning sessions with your partners and thinkingphones sales management team on a regular basis.
Plan and direct partner activities including implementing forecasts, marketing program development, and relationship development

Create sales team alignment between the partner representatives and the thinkingphones account teams within the territory
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Be seen and treated by your partners as a trusted and valued resource

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
5-8 years experience of managing partners (VAR’s, MSP’s, Service Providers, etc.) in the regional market
Highly motivated and can work in a rapidly growing company and industry
Deliver professional & compelling sales pitch at the C-level (solution selling/business process improvement approach)
Ability to communicate value of thinkingphones in order to educate partners to do the same
Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
Knowledge of sales methodology a plus
Salesforce.com knowledge a plus
Travel required (30% plus)
BS or BA in a technical or business discipline
