We are hiring a Director of Sales, as an addition to the team, to grow the Dwolla business and empower customers to transact quickly, safely and at a cost as low as possible. As the Director of Sales you will:

Develop and implement a scalable sales process for the company, growing a team of sales professionals to meet the goals of the business across specific verticals
Develop monthly goals and delivering closed accounts according to those targets
Identify top segments and work with marketing to build pipeline and generate leads
Develop metrics for success and incentive programs for the team, managing sales resources to close target deals
Develop account / target tiers to focus efforts of team and inside sales
Establish relationships with key executives of the targeted companies to create a long term pipeline of top targets
Negotiate proposal and develop agreement terms with clients for both standardized packages and create custom packages
Conduct financial modeling and create attractive pricing models, optimizing revenue opportunities for Dwolla
Recruit, manage, develop, and coach sales team members to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals for their respective segment
Develop short and long term goals, objectives and sales operating procedures
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Conduct competitive analysis, market trends and provide end-user feedback to management and sales teams
Travel to key customers and sales teams

Desired Skills and Experience
7 years minimum of business development and sales experience, with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets
Demonstrated ability to coach and develop a team, and support them in reaching sales goals
Experience in payments is a significant plus
Strong understanding of new emerging technologies and leading fin-tech trends and a passion for ongoing learning
Ability to develop and utilize financial models and forecasting tools
Experience in budgeting and account planning
