Director - Operations - Meritus Payment Solutions - Orange County


Job description
Our Director of Operations is responsible to ensure that daily operations and related staff are effective and efficient. The Operations Leader will regularly review and maintain metrics and drive success.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, staff and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinates to ensure a cohesive operational unit
Assign appropriate workload to staff including administrative duties and special projects.
Uphold high standards in the areas of customer service, teamwork, communication and work ethic.

Provide advice, guidance, and direction to managers toward their professional development.
Holds all team members accountable for standards of support and operational flows.
Partner with other Division Leadership: Information Technology, Sales, Finance and Human Resources for continuity and support.
Periodically review all policies and procedures for relevance to current operational flows.
Drives and enforces all operations metrics.
Work with technology team to ensure all systems and reporting engines are optimized and perform as expected.
Assist Management Team in resolving escalated issues as required.
Communicate trends, issues and improvements to assigned staff in a timely manner.

Desired Skills and Experience
Must have 5-10 years in payments processing industry with expertise in Card-Not-Present environment.
Complete understanding of the workflow and on boarding process from application and file building to basic business due diligence and statement analysis to Merchant activation.
Strong knowledge of industry rules and regulations including interchange and statement analysis.Strong knowledge of technical support, downloads, deployment and customer retention.

Proficient at understanding and applying industry card association rules and regulations, interchange knowledge, analyzing statements and following all work flow processes.
