Director - Account Management - Sefaira - New York

About the Job
As part of the Customer Success team, the Director - Account Management, West Coast is responsible for the growth of Sefaira’s subscription revenue within our existing customer base of architectural, engineering and construction firms.

Responsibilities
Exceed quarterly bookings and customer retention targets for the region

Develop important and effective relationships within your accounts including key and influential executives and leaders
Identify and convert existing customer challenges into opportunities for both our customer and Sefaira and to effectively communicate how Sefaira delivers unique business value
Build effective account business plans for your largest strategic opportunities and execute upon the plan
Build, maintain and grow your opportunity pipeline and use sound call planning to drive business results
Ensure that Sefaira is recognized as a trusted advisor and a partner helping customers implement performance based design – not just another vendor
Provide timely, accurate and detailed sales forecasts
Effectively leverage and help improve existing sales processes, tools and methodologies
Provide effective internal information as required (i.e. ops reviews, customer info, etc.)
Construct and conduct internal/external presentations in an effective and professional manner
As a leader in the company, make contributions to Sefaira outside of your immediate domain, example: bring new ideas to enhance our product offering; develop new sales tools, new approaches to selling & marketing

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You have a passion for green building and the drive to help build a world class business
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred
7+ years of progressive sales experience working for rapid-paced technology companies. Previous start-up and/or SaaS business experience is ideal. AEC market experience is a big plus
Clear track record of carrying challenging sales quotas and meeting/exceeding annual goals for innovative product/services offerings that are new to the market
Affinity and ability to work effectively out of a regional/home office
Entrepreneurial spirit and thrive working in a fast-paced stimulating team environment
You love working with clients, understanding their personalities and their business needs and you care about your client’s success
You are able to communicate technical concepts in a succinct, engaging manner both verbally in front of a large group and in written format
You understand how to build and leverage strong business relationships..
Able and willing to travel 25% of the time
