Accela is looking for a Architect, Mobile Development to lead the design and implementation of our mobile application suite. We are looking for candidates who have a deep understanding of software engineering, mobile software architecture design, with a diverse set of skills, who are passionate about technology and eager to drive mobile innovation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)

Lead and continue to build a team of highly talented mobile developers
Design and lead the architecture for our enterprise mobile applications
Make strategic decisions on how to build cross platform mobile application for iOS, Android and Windows 8
Lead both onsite and offshore mobile developers
Work closely with project management to understand and influence the next generation of mobile products and requirements
Demonstrate the ability to develop applications using Agile methodologies
Design and implement public SDKs for all mobile platforms
Contribute to blogs and technical training material


Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or related field of study
3+ years of mobile application development using either iOS, Android or Windows 8
7+ years of experience in overall software engineering and leading a team of developers
Must have a deep understanding of software engineering principals and architecture
Experience designing public SDKs and APIs
Knowledge of development methodologies for mobile and web
