Job description
Premier investment bank in North Dallas seeks innovative, proven Marketing Director to direct the in-house execution of all marketing – digital/inbound/and outbound marketing campaigns (requires ability to lead, manage and motivate internal resources and outside agencies) to enhance visibility and drive leads to our Website, phone-lines and front door.
The Director of Marketing will successfully lead/manage the integrated efforts of internal resources and external agencies and services to create and execute marketing campaigns with measurable ROI. The role includes:
Managing both inbound and outbound campaigns and any associated budgets to support the campaigns in collaboration with the Business Development function
Overseeing advertising tactics including behavioral/contextual advertising, PPC and Search Engine Marketing social media
Developing the content and overseeing the building of any landing pages or micro sites related to these campaigns
Analyzing results and marketing plans continuously to ensure optimization and alignment with business objectives; developing thoughtful, insightful reports in order to manage the communication of findings with market and Company leadership
Leading, managing and motivating internal and external partners (user experience (UX), search marketing, digital agencies) in the execution of a digital strategy that positions the company as the leader in our industry and clear choice for targeted market
Keeping current with emerging Web technologies & best practices in usability and design
Managing team of internal and external designers and copywriters to achieve business goals
Collaborating with in-house counsel to manage legal and editorial approval workflow for content creation and ensure conformity to legal compliance
Collaborate with PR efforts to drive results and awareness
Collaborating with IT to ensure a consistent look, feel and voice throughout all digital properties
Developing dashboards for KPIs to share with leadership daily/weekly/monthly
Serving as the internal advocate and subject matter expert for content management processes and technologies

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar area
At least 5-7 years of experience in the marketing space with a least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role
Knowledge of outbound targeted campaign planning and execution for the business-to-business space
Advanced knowledge of: social media marketing, Web content generation, Web analytics, site personalization, knowledge of A/B testing practices
Experience with SEO and conversion strategies
PR experience as part of integrated market awareness strategy
Strong business/financial and analytical acumen; quick to recognize trends and opportunities (Investment Banking experience preferred but not required)
Knowledge of content management systems and how they integrate with ecommerce platforms
Excellence in premier content generation, posts, white papers, brochures and related branded collateral (writing samples required)
Experience integrating marketing efforts in active, strategic partnership with VP’s of business development and sales operations
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong leadership and influence skills
Able to project manage and ensure adherence to deadlines
Experience with email marketing systems such as Hubspot
Experience working in a Salesforce environment
Entrepreneurial mindset with previous business ownership a definite plus.
