Job description
Director of Sales
We are aggressively looking to identify a high level sales professional to sell and manage client relationships in USA. The Director of Sales, will be expected to execute high-level sales & manage the relationships of our clients involved in higher dollar competitive proposals/procurements & programs in the Engineering Services space. This candidate needs to be very familiar with the outsourcing model of the systems & semiconductor business.
Strong preference will be given to those candidates with primary sales or account management experience selling into major accounts. Candidates should have extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Engineering Services
o ASIC/SOC/Software account management
o EDA business development
Responsibilities:
• High level client relationship skills, including direct communication to:
o C-level officers, Vice Presidents, Business Unit Managers, and Program/Project Managers
• Excellent large account management and delivery skills.
• Leadership, both internally and externally.
• Proactive professional and technical self-development.
• Work as a team with the VP’s of Sales/Worldwide Strategic Accounts
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
• 10+ year’s industry experience with proven client leadership with carrying annual quotas greater than $4M
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) and previous sales track record is required.
· Excellent negotiation skills
• Knowledge and experience of all aspects in chip design is a plus
•Classical sales or account management training (Miller-Heimann, Dale Carnegie etc) is a plus.
• Location Preference: Bay Area, CA or Austin, TX
