Job description
The primary responsibility is to utilize analytics and program measurement to evaluate innovative healthcare delivery system strategies.
Promotes and leads high level healthcare analytic model adoption.
This position develops an infrastructure that supports all leaders in the achievement of Clinical Enterprise strategic priorities.
Responsible for analytics needed to drive strategic development of PCMH and ACO; working closely with the Provider Network and contracting team on innovative reimbursement methodologies, risk sharing contracts etc.
Demonstrated leadership presence to gain the confidence of senior executives and increase their knowledge of the value research and analytics creates
Must be familiar with the most recent developments in data science and “big data”


Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with population health or decision support or clinical data analytics or Healthcare Business Intelligence in a Healthcare provider setting.
Advanced degree required in a quantitative science discipline requiring basic and applied research and analytics (for example, educational background in a relevant discipline such as epidemiology, actuarial sciences, health services research, and/or economics).
Eight years of experience in an academic health center, healthcare insurance company or managed care organization including five or more years executive/leadership experience.
Health plan and actuarial experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated working knowledge of physician, hospital, ancillary contracting involving pay for performance (P4P) and pay for quality (P4Q), Patient Centered Medical Home/Accountable Care Organizations (PCMH and ACOs)
Deep working knowledge of healthcare data (at detail level for Eligibility, Medical/Pharmacy/Capitated encounters, Inpatient Confinements, Nurse/Coach Interventions, ETG/ERG/EBM episodes, risk, and rules, etc)
