Director - Business Development - Signal Vine - Alexandria


Job description
We are in search of a dynamic individual to drive the revenue growth of Signal Vine as a key member of the company’s business development team. This role requires a combination of skills including sales leadership and execution, sales management,marketing management and key account management. It’s a new role and comes with the opportunity to make key contributions to the success of a rapidly growing business.

Particular to the timing of this hire and current needs of the business, the primary market focus for the first 12-24 months will be Higher Education, focusing on growing revenue through outreach and market development efforts to four-year colleges and universities and community colleges. In the long run, this individual would play a key role in analyzing new markets and executing revenue growth plans.

Your specific responsibilities will include …
Sales & Revenue
Contribute to the development of company revenue goals
Ensure business development team meets its revenue goals
Oversight of sales training, sales kit, and any related sales tools (pipeline, contacts, etc.)

Business Strategy & Market Development
Key contributor to the revenue growth strategy
Identify targets and related sales objectives
Account Management
Maintain and develop customer relationships
Manage customer renewal process
Develop renewal targets (%) and increase revenue on renewals
Marketing
Marketing plan development and implementation
Oversight of marketing activities to support revenue goals
Periodic travel for conferences and events
