As Director of Global HRIS you will be responsible for working with the HR Leadership team in the selection, development, implementation and support of front/back office HR focused information system technologies.
Initially the focus will be on driving the Workday HCM implementation and supporting ADP and Kronos system launch/transfer. Longer term you will leverage your knowledge and expertise developing and maintaining strong partnerships across all functional HR areas; partnering to develop and integrate solutions in support of business objectives globally.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
· Excellent understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functionality and processes, extensive experience with database tools/solutions.
· Direct and manage the HRIS systems team and system components including Payroll, Workday and Applicant Tracking.
· Knowledge of global HR processes and policies and legal requirements globally (Lumileds has a large presence in AsiaPac, EMEA and Americas.
· Develop and oversee the execution of tactical plans to assure that HRIS supports the Company’s strategic objectives.
· In collaboration with the global HRIS team, partners with other HR functional areas to review HR business plans and identify opportunities for automation support.
· Working in conjunction with the IT team, ensure compliance and manage the maintenance, data integrity and security of the HRIS system. Troubleshoot technical problems. Ensure processes and procedures are appropriately documented.
· Design system specifications. Recommend programming and customization changes that will reduce manual processes and increase technology ROI. Evaluate current processes to identify areas for improvement through technical solutions.
· Establish baseline and continuously improve employee satisfaction with HRIS and self-service applications.
· Work closely with IT partners to ensue overall HR technology roadmap is stage, resourced, and aligned with the overall technology architecture for the company. i.e. application integration
· Lead creation, communication, training and roll-out of standardized HRIS processes.
· Ensure all global HRIS initiatives support the local legal requirements in the locations they will be used.
· Lead in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
· Communicate initiative status, risk assessment and process/application improvement to HR and business leaders.
· Proven track record in of success in change management of global HR initiatives
