Director - EVF Programs and Operations - Essilor - Dallas
Job description
Essilor of America, Inc. (Essilor), is the leading manufacturer and wholesaler of prescription lenses in the United States.
We currently have a Director of EVF Programs and Operations career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.
Responsibilities
The EVF Director will report directly to the President of EVF and is responsible for leading the Programs and Operations aspects of EVF including developing, coordinating, planning, & managing all processed in the department. The Director will have direct responsibility for targeted EVF Programs and assist EVF President with key projects pertaining to EVF strategies and key performance targets.
Implement and develop strategy for EVF Team in line with future goals of the organization
Responsible for leading and managing the Programs and Operations teams while assuring that all personnel/governance are in place
Responsible for delivery of key performance indicators for EVF programs
Responsible for overseeing the complete process of EVF deliverables for targeted territories & programs (coordinate volunteers, optometrist, opticians, school personnel, other personnel from other organizations in accordance with projected student volume and schedule)
Ensure ongoing communication with optometrists regarding process, schedules and pre-authorizations including background investigations and w-9 paperwork.
Ensure necessary screening tools are available and utilized consistent with local state screening requirements & EVF screening policies.
Schedule and prepare frame and lens inventory for vision clinics.
Oversee and execute follow-up dispensing schedules for delivery and fitting of finished glasses.
Report data necessary for screening and clinics related to specific school districts and to EVP, tracking services delivered and data for any clinical studies/research
Actively participate in the activities of the local coalition or any other promotional or fund raising events taking place in the area
If a Mobile Vision Clinic is in the area ensure proper functioning, protocols, safety, and delivery of services
Create & manage all operational functions to guarantee effective delivery of programs
Develop and execute back office processes of the operation room including: order entry, tracking, warehouse fulfillment, frame inventory
Oversee budgeting and reporting of expenses for all EVF programs
Lead contracts in area, to assure all EVF processes are followed and executed
Partner with fund raising activities by developing and maintaining detailed shared contact lists for the area
Monthly reporting of on all responsibilities at staff meetings
Oversee the day to day implementation of Programs and Operations commitments
Other Duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
Must be highly independent and a self-initiated individual with the following attributes:
Experience in leading and managing a team
Exceptional organization skills including demonstrated abilities in Microsoft Office
Management and leadership skills
Both verbal and written communication skills which lead to clear expectations in coordinating and collaborating across peers, volunteers and external resources.
Ability and willingness to work with elementary age school children, doctors, administrators.
Demonstrated ability to work with logistical complexity while maintaining composure
Persistence to ensure adherence to standards, ability to take corrective action as needed.
Optical or vision experience is valued
BS Degree
Must be willing to travel
