POSITION SUMMARY
Leadership position within the Medicare NextGen Platform Implementation PMO. Accountable for ensuring Medicare Care Management functions are defined, configured and setup on the new Medicare NextGen Platform. Ensures platform is configured to support both current as well as future strategic configurations and done on schedule to support migration timeline.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience.
Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.Project management experience.
Supervisory experience.
Demonstrated negotiation


EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Telework Specifications:
Willing to consider both full-time and part-time telework as well as office based. In addition, while location selected is Hartford, willing to consider candidates from all areas (will need to be willing to travel to Hartford).

Critical leadership position; highly visible position. Ability to drive change and define the future platform for the Aetna Medicare business specific to the care management business functions.

Required Skills:
Strong Leadership in driving delivery through a "matrix" organization. Strong background in Medicare (focused in the area of Medicare Care Management). Prior experience in leading implementation of new Medicare care management system. Must be able to think strategically (we are not reinventing what we do today..but rather defining the most efficient and flexible solution that will support the Aetna Medicare business in to the future.
