Marketing Director - Retail - L'OREAL - New York


Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Marketing for National Accounts and Stores is responsible for marketing and management with our key National Account customers, including JCP, Regis, Beauty Brands and Ulta. The position is a marketing position that will also liaise between brand marketing and the National Account field team primarily to ensure the National Account partners are supported to deliver on turnover and sales targets. The position is also responsible for working with the Field Sales team in developing the custom account specific programs, as well as identifies opportunities and present to marketing during planning sessions.



CHAINS RESPONSIBILITIES

Main point of contact between marketing and sales divisions. Works with sales & marketing for all chain support, manage/facilitates key planning meetings, sell-in materials, communication guidelines, POS, comps, images.
Manage and track the Channel Development National Accounts budget.
Liaises with brand marketing teams and national account managers to develop the promotional calendars, forecasting input and accuracy, product launch support for all key accounts. Manages the individualized strategy for each unique customer and launch.
Creates and drives Channel Specific programs and promotions as well as manage changes throughout the year, ensuring constant communication, input and feedback from Chains Account Directors and Marketing teams.
Manages promotional post-analysis by promotion/account for success rate, sell-in/sell-thru, & key learnings.
Manage the creative briefing process for all National Accounts magazines and collateral support. Manage cross functional communication and timelines between marketing, sales, creative, and promotional purchasing.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

6-8 years experience in a beauty or CPG marketing role
Ability to work autonomously, strong organization and planning
Strong analytical skills, with an exceptional proficiency in database, excel
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Strong presentation skills
Cross - functional and collaborative
Creative and critical thinking and problem solving skills
Decision making in the absence of all the answers all the time
Travel up to 20%
