Information Risk Director of Governance and Policy, #- 59549
The Director of Governance and Policy will manage Governance, Regulatory, and Policy Management for the Information Security group within the Operational Risk Unit. This will include driving a strong alignment between policy, standards, and controls within GTO and across the enterprise. This position will provide support in the management of the Risk Committees and Sub-Committees/Working Groups, Governing Committees annual assessment, Policies, and other administrative duties as assigned;



Keeps abreast of new technological challenges to such systems as well as new developments in system protection and recognized IT security-related standards.
Assists primary corporate control point during follow-up on significant information security incidents. Involved with the development of response plans and provides timely update reporting.
Develops and provides training and awareness around information security policy updates
Accountable for oversight and management of policy noncompliance processes.
Maintains and enhances security policies, procedures, and enforcement mechanisms.
Oversees development, implementation and maintenance of Information Security Policies.
Coordinates with privacy and compliance functions to address existing and emerging requirements within policy framework.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Equivalent
License/ Certification: CISSP/ CISA
At least 10 years of experience
Information Security experience
Financial Services Industry preferred
Ability to work well under pressure and respond to tight deadlines.
Committee support, policy management, and risk governance programs
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, respond to needs quickly and efficiently and prioritize work with a strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exercise excellent judgment in setting priorities and interacting with internal and external contacts
Must be a self-starter and have a "take charge" attitude; must be able to work with little or no supervision
Must be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team
Spanish language skills preferred but not required
