Director, Digital Marketing and Campaign Services

We are looking for a senior IT Services marketer with strong digital marketing campaign experience, combined with an outcome-based marketing orientation, proven integrated marketing approach and outstanding people skills. The overarching goal of this position is to conceptualize, design and implement integrated digital marketing programs across all aspects of marketing at TCS, moving us away from our reliance on industry trade shows.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, an effective program manager and also be willing to help execute and show success. This candidate will create a strategy across the full spectrum of the next generation of marketing tactics, including web, digital marketing, paid search, social media and marketing automation tools.

The Digital Marketing and Campaign Services program should reinforce the company’s positioning as a leader in helping our clients “Experience Certainty.” This position will need to be a champion of the next generation of B2B services marketing, using industry-leading methods, with a focus on driving sophisticated levels of integrated digital, search and social brand management.

You will work closely with Business Unit and Sales Leadership to create and execute strategic marketing programs in support of TCS North America’s overall business strategy, sales efforts, corporate communications, thought leadership programs and revenue objectives. You will be responsible for developing and executing across industry, as well as corporate marketing campaigns focused on generating awareness, thought leadership, qualified leads and our industry-leading brand.

The Candidate must possess a minimum of ten (10) experience and have deep knowledge of the fundamental marketing channels, with an emphasis on email, digital and social media.

Specific responsibilities include:

Align Digital Marketing and Campaign Strategically with Sales
Work with Sales Leadership and the Industry Marketing Managers to incorporate this channel into the marketing plans more regularly
Collaborate with Field Marketing and the Head of North America Marketing and Communications to ensure visibility of the digital marketing campaign programs.
Build the digital marketing and campaign services brand and the value proposition internally.

Team and Interpersonal Skills
Building strong relationships with other key stakeholders such as business unit leadership, solution teams, pre-sales and global marketing peers, to name a few.
Become the “digital marketing and campaign evangelist” for NA marketing.
Contribute to a high-functioning, collaborative sales and marketing relationship within the business units.
Integrated Marketing Approach
Build an integrated digital marketing campaign strategy for key vertical and horizontal offerings.
Build demographic and behavioral lead-scoring; create nurture and drip marketing tracks.
Work closely with the Industry Field Marketing Managers to create marketing campaigns on our offerings and solutions. Leverage corporate initiatives whenever possible (CSR, TSC NYC City Marathon, goIT, etc.) to build our brand.

Plan, Monitor & Measure Marketing Programs & Campaigns
Measure the success of your strategy via traditional measures such as email click rate, open rate, campaign response rate and whenever possible, and pipeline value. However, we would like the candidate to ‘stretch our thinking’ beyond traditional measures
Manage the budgeting for digital marketing campaign services.
Monitor program and campaign effectiveness on a regular basis. Showing ROI is critical

Marketing Ops Orientation and Tools
Working closely with Head, Marketing Ops, institute processes to increase adoption of marketing automation tools (list management, campaign creation, campaign measurement etc.)
Become an expert user in Marketo, SalesForce.com and Siebel CRM
Ensure compliance of standard processes and reports that show ROI
Leverage internal knowledge-sharing tools.
Regularly report metrics on digital marketing programs in agreed-upon global templates.

Marketing Support and Sales Enablement Activities
Work with Business Unit Marketing to facilitate periodic sales training on the benefit and ROI of digital marketing campaigns. Educate and evangelize.

Required Experience:

10+ years of experience in technology or professional services marketing & communications, with prior experience at the national/director level, preferably in a consulting or technology services and outsourcing organization.
Proven success developing and executing integrated business-to-business marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management and results.
Strong relationship acumen: ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organization.
Excellent communicator – well-spoken with excellent writing skills.
Experience with Marketing Automation tools (Marketo) and CRM tools (SalesForce.com, Siebel CRM) a strong plus.
Must be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and a strong desire to be part of building something relatively new at TCS
Strong project management skills with an affinity for consistently producing high-quality work and yield with a customer focus.
Experience evaluating and assessing internal and external client needs and market needs, and transforming them into actionable marketing plans/campaigns.
Strong organizational skills.
Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and flexible team-oriented approach to working with others.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or a related field; MBA a plus.
