Job description
The Director of Music & Entertainment is responsible for creating music marketing opportunities for Pepsi Beverages Company brands by developing and managing relationships with Music Labels, Artists and Management within the US. This person is also responsible for procuring celebrity talent for all brand communications and for building relationships with the TV/Movie industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within music, entertainment & brand marketing with a track record of building successful partnerships, including:
Developing clear music & entertainment partnership strategies
Examples of successful marketing partnerships that drive brand value
Building customized presentations to engage PBC customers
Collaborating across multiple cross-functional partners within a matrix organization
Leading the negotiation process for complex partnerships
Creating success measures and ROI tools
Educating organizations on the continual evolution of music & entertainment industry
Qualifications:
10 - 15 years Marketing Experience including either CPG or image-based marketing experience and at least 5 years experience in the Music industry. Candidate will have strong partnership development and negotiation skills, a track record of delivering results-driving marketing programming, and experience managing a large team and working within a matrix environment. Beverage experience highly valued, but not required.
