Field Vice President - Sales - Clarins - Chicago


Job description
Clarins, a leading European skincare and luxury fragrance company, is seeking a Field Vice President for the Central, Midwest and Southeast markets. Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales, this position will establish Clarins as a top selling brand in each account, correctly utilizing the resources of the organization; responsible for the P&L of region. This position will be based in Chicago.
Overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Management of no less than 3 headquarter accounts.
Responsible for achieving and negotiating assigned headquarter net shipment targets.
Responsible for achieving sell thru targets in Clarins A & B focus markets.
Accountable for by door selling cost inclusive of Skin Spa, CRS events/staff and counter demo.
Accountable for projecting and meeting required financial goals while maintaining overall region P & L requirements.
Accountable for Team Clarins event planning and execution.
Responsible for leading market visits and conducting deep dive analysis on quarterly basis.
Accountability to recognize opportunities and implement strategies/program to yield results.
Implementation of promotional and merchandising programs with the retailer to achieve sell-thru goals.
Ongoing development of executive staff as it pertains to Clarins Talent Development Program.
Administrative responsibilities include trade relations, awareness of the competition, while maintaining integrity, image and philosophy of the company.
May perform other functions that may be assigned such as scheduling appointment and setting up presentation meetings with store management including visual, public relations and sales promotion personnel.

Desired Skills and Experience
Experience/Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
10+ years experience in Beauty retailing, Servicing and Executive Sales.
Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
Strong command and understanding of company profit and loss statements.
Excellent rapport with customers (retailer partners).
Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, creative thinker, solutions driven.
Strong leadership skills; ability to influence and support staff to achieve objectives.
Ability to travel up to 60%.
Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
