Job description
SUMMARY
Oversees all training conducted in the Company’s maintenance division to ensure a standard level of performance is achieved at each location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares, organizes, disseminates information; conducts standardized maintenance training across the network; and schedules training from vendors when appropriate.
Establishes skill-level based training curriculum including developing and implementing handbooks, training manuals, educational materials, and testing procedures.
Develops training schedules, analyzes individual progress, and uses discretion to recommend further development and training opportunities.
Designs and implements specific training measurements and reports on results.
Establishes goals and objectives, measures progress, analyzes results, and makes improvements to the training curriculum as needed to ensure strategic business goals and results are met.
Confers with executives and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
Explores, implements, and manages continuous and innovative efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
Travels approximately 30% of the time to assigned shops to perform job functions as needed.
Creates maintenance training library and archives training documents regularly.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
Receives and carries out instructions.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree; or five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
