Job description
Position Summary:
The Director of HR Information Systems and Operations will provide functional leadership including strategy, design, operation, and management for the full spectrum of HR technology platforms and HR operations. The role will direct the activities of the HRIS Manager and HRIS Analyst. The incumbent will partner with internal stakeholders and external resources to develop the HR technology strategy and HR operational efficiency. Utilizing the insight of the organization’s internal and external business environments, this leader will apply solid business operations, project management methodology, communications, and leadership skills to efficiently and cost-effectively assure a technology foundation that will support the organizations culture and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Set strategic objectives for the global HRIS and HR Operations functions and ensure timely and effective operations
Effectively communicate the vision for the HRIS and Operations functions within and outside of HR
Partner within HR and across the enterprise in ensuring the team anticipates the needs of the enterprise and supports the objectives of our fast moving and rapidly growing company.
Proactively seek to understand the clients unique short and long term strategic initiatives to ensure the development of technology solutions are in place that feed their human capital needs today and with a vision to the future.
Drive global deployment of HR systems and HR business processes including shared service initiatives to ensure world-wide operational efficiency and compliance
Leads HR global technology initiatives, such as the design and delivery of Oracle Fusion and globalization of talent management systems
Proactively assess HRIS and HR Operations processes and policies and update as necessary based on organizational needs, industry practices and regulatory compliance considerations.
Act as a thought leader to resolve complex HRIS related issues
Contribute to the successful integration activities of acquired organizations
Partner with the IT function on company-wide system evaluations and integrations
Lead the development of human capital analytics and scorecards leveraging HR data resources
Actively participate in industry associations and conferences to stay abreast of top practices to ensure best in class systems and processes
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without the need for sponsorship

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
10 or more years of progressive HRIS experience
12 years’ experience in Human Resources
8 years as a direct manager
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
Ability to negotiate difficult and sensitive matters and build consensus

Preferred Qualifications and Experience :

M.B.A. or other relevant post-graduate degree
Proven ability to build global HRIS systems
Track record of delivering analytic solutions and strategies
Proven experience building/designing global shared service organizations
Strong relationship management skills with expertise in working in matrixed organizations and with external vendors
