As the Director HR and Corporate Solutions Architecture, you will be a leader in the NIKE Technology HR and Corporate Solutions group and support NIKE's Global HR, Sustainability, Legal, and Corporate Services divisions. The successful candidate will:


- Be recognized as an expert in global, end-to-end HR and Enabling Functions technologies and systems that support a Fortune 500 corporation. Create compelling strategic visions for these functions and see them through to fruition by influencing senior executives and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate an ability to translate business trends and strategies into technical services and solutions as it relates to HR, Legal, Sustainability, and Corporate Services.
- Support strategic technology planning by identifying, tracking, and experimenting with new and potentially disruptive technologies. Lead team that evaluates higher risk technology investments.
- Evaluate technology and business trends in order to achieve value as part of a business strategy. Combine a broad knowledge of the potential value in emerging technologies and a keen understanding of how these technologies can affect Nike's business and processes.
- Provide high level technical design, strategy roadmap development and technical architecture for projects and/or programs.
- Ensure best practices for exploiting key technologies are shared across the organization. Evaluate solution alternatives in order to achieve goals through the use of technology
- Design and develop IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with enterprise architecture direction and standards.
- Analyze needs and requirements of existing and proposed products/services, applications, and service offerings, and develop technical, structural and organizational specifications.
- Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
- Have the ability to effectively work cross-functionally with and through business and IT managers.
- Need to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing large technology project-portfolios in a product-driven environment and accountability of deadlines and value propositions.
- Manage project budgets and scope, and will conduct resource planning for risks that are proactively identified.
- This role reports to the Senior Director HR and Corporate Solutions and is an integral member
- of the HRCS Leadership Team.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
- 10 years business, IT or related experience
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and manage and resolve conflict.
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated expertise of building a consensus across business partners and technology leaders, and influencing successful outcomes.
- Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.
- Experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment.
- 8 years enterprise, business or solutions architecture experience
- Expert-level understanding of business process re-engineering or process improvement
- Ability to develop or improve strategic processes
- Ability to consult, transfer knowledge and act as a resource for the resolution of unique opportunities
- Ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders and architects throughout Nike
- Expert level knowledge in governances and best practices for enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps
- Ability to communicate technical information to and influence a wide and varied audience, from your team of experienced architects through executives
- Ability to pass a 7-year background investigation
