Director - Fulfillment - The Honest Company - Los Angeles

Job description
Support the e-commerce and wholesale fulfillment across multiple warehouses
Identify and reduce operational issues that impact order fulfillment by working with warehouse management teams, observing operation, and analyzing WMS data
Work with technical and warehouse teams to prioritize and address daily order fulfillment issues
Own and improve daily KPI’s related to fulfillment (e.g., same-day fulfillment rates, error rates, damage rates, inventory accuracy, etc.)
Monitor performance of 3PL partners to ensure all SLA’s are met or exceeded

Develop robust staffing models with warehouse management teams
Understand and own all drivers in fulfillment line on P&L
Coach warehouse management teams
Develop long-term plan and plan ahead on human resources, space needs, infrastructure/CAPEX needs, software needs, etc.
Evaluate need for new DCs as business grows and needs evolve
Maintain accurate inventory tracking within the warehouse and collaborate with accounting to ensure proper inventory accounting
Work with the Corporate Social Responsibility team to donate products on a regular basis
Maintain high team morale, low churn, and high level of safety
Operate in compliance with wholesale customer’s compliance needs

Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in Operations/Supply Chain/Fulfillment
5+ years of experience in managing large teams of over 100 people
Experience managing and driving change across large teams in multiple locations
Desire to excel in and positively impact a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
Quantitative skills and ability to measure and improve performance using analytics (advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills required)
Previous experience in e-commerce and consumer packaged goods preferred
Familiarity with OSHA and other distribution regulations and requirements
Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System and automation
This position is based in Santa Monica, CA but requires weekly travel to Ontario, CA and regular travel to the East Coast and other potential future DC locations
Previous warehouse start-up experience (from scratch) preferred
College degree required, MBA preferred
