We are seeking an outstanding Services Business Development Director with 5-7 years of applicable experience working in the services industry with an understanding of partner alliance strategies, as well as demonstrable business development/revenue growth and team management success. You will own a business within a rapidly growing consulting services company and lead partner channel sales development and execution across your territory. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the leading technologists in their field.

Responsibilities and activities include:

Sell to corporate entities located in the Chicago Region
Manage and maintain partner channel activity and relationships
Build and execute a sales and marketing plan to generate new business leveraging partner channels
Execute strategies for account development and expanding customer base and reach including the development of marketing strategies in collaboration with partners
Establish, build, and maintain strong executive contacts and regularly conduct business value discussions with CXOs and VP BDMs (lines of business and IT) as a trusted advisor
Structure and close consulting services engagements focused on Enterprise Services, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Information Management, Mobility, Social Platforms, User Experience, and Cloud based applications
Develop solutions that integrate existing client resources, BlueMetal and offshore resources
Partner with internal senior management for solution scoping and delivery
Meet and exceed budgeted quota

Desired Skills & Experience

5-7 years of industry-related experience as a sales executive, inspiring solutions that exactly meet client needs.
Consulting services and/or technology sales experience
Partner management and channel development experience
Experience selling application architecture consulting services, analytics, business intelligence, information management, and user experience design and engineering services
Proven, exceptional sales and business performance – consistently exceeds business performance goals while delivering exceptional client satisfaction
Experience working with a team to create innovative, large scale solutions for customers that map business architecture to software product and technology capabilities
Communication excellence - strong listening, writing, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with clients at all levels including CxO level relationships

Additional Skills and Competencies

Consultative selling experience - Proven success with enterprise customers, working knowledge of solution-selling strategies and tactics and business value selling to deliver solutions that meet the exact needs of our clients
Platform knowledge including .Net, SQL and SharePoint as well as mobile platforms. Familiarity with Cloud Services and Open Source technologies a plus
Ability to inspire solutions that exactly meet client needs
Sales Teamwork – demonstrated capability to drive a v-team. High degree of collaboration with multiple sales personnel including strategic partners will be required for success.
