Global Director - Client Acquisition - OANDA - San Franciso
Job description
The Global Director of Client Acquisition will profitably acquire new customers to fuel OANDA’s growth.
This person is results-driven, analytical and creative-minded. You’re collaborative, a strong communicator, and have the ability to influence and educate both within your team and cross-functionally. You have deep experience in digital marketing across all channels. You have built strong marketing programs from the ground up and managed them with and without agencies.
Your approach and vision is strategic, brand aligned, and innovative. You have a passion for the big idea and a keen interest in measuring its impact on our business. You are a seasoned leader and people manager with the ability to manage change. You are able to infuse new ideas and ways of thinking into an environment that is very technically savvy and innovative. This full-time position is based in San Francisco, CA and reports directly to the CMO.
Desired Skills and Experience
Specific requirements:
5-10 years of online and acquisition marketing with deep functional expertise including: SEM, SEO, Display, Email, Mobile, Online Video and Affiliate marketing. TV is a plus.
Demonstrated excellence in driving conversion online and offline from leads to customers
Deep experience with digital media management and web analytics tools and using digital data and metrics to inform strategies
Strategic thinker who can collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills with diplomacy necessary to guide, influence and convince others even in situations without formal authority
Experience in changing, high growth environments; comfortable with ambiguity and working in matrixed organization
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
