Experience Required * Minimum 5-7 years in medical device sales and/or marketing

Job Summary

* Responsible for leading the Medical Education Team in building upon the current "grass roots" residency education programs as well as raising the level of engagement of our consultants and future thought leaders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Create a vision and align the team with that vision.
* Empowers those on the team to make key decisions.
* Promote creativity and openness with team members.
* Ensure that educational activities and programs are aligned with the "vision".
* Partner with sister divisions to identify, collaborate, and execute ongoing educational opportunities at top programs.
* Manage existing consultant relationships and contracts as well as identify "up and coming" thought leaders.
* Promote, collaborate and leverage the expertise of team members to address educational needs of the customer.
* Build loyalty through relationships with customers
* Meet Medical Education Team yearly budget objectives.
* Promote "Interdivisional" collaboration on educational opportunities.
* Stay in accordance with Stryker Compliance and AdvaMed training.
