Director - Global Human Resources - Sekisui Diagnostics - Lexington


Job description

Sekisui Diagnostics currently has an opportunity open as Global Human Resources Business Partner for our Supply Chain/Operations, IT, Finance and Legal functions.

The Global HR Business Partner will support several Senior Leadership Team members and their teams and collaborate with local HR Business Partners at our locations in the US, Canada, Germany and the UK to set strategy and deliver a high level of service.

Responsibilities:
Primary HR contact for global heads of Supply Chain and support functions. This includes being part of their respective leadership teams and assuring all HR programs and activities are administered in a consistent and timely manner.
Proactively identify solutions where performance and productivity can be enhanced through improved human resource practices. This includes areas such as workforce planning, recruitment, organizational and employee development, change management, employee engagement, reward and recognition, employee relations and the utilization of meaningful human capital metrics.
Develop a HR strategy and plan which aligns with the business strategy of each functional area.
Lead and manage a small HR team of Business Partners in US, Canada and Europe.
Member of the Senior HR Mgmt team.
Project Leadership & Mgmt responsibilities on various HR projects and initiatives.
Assure compliance with Country, State and Local laws.

Desired Skills and Experience
Education, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
7-10+ years of related experience.
Experience managing HR professionals in other geographies.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Familiar with employment laws and practices in different countries.
Ability to collaborate with and influence other members of the team and business with the ability to influence and work across cultures.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects across various countries and disciplines.
Strong Business Acumen and the application of HR practices and programs, including talent management, employee engagement, reward and recognition principles.
Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.

10% travel – nationally and globally, required.
