Compliance Management Services
Compliance Officer
Contact person designated and authorized to ensure consumer questions/reports are promptly handling accessibility concerns.
Contact person and contact for U.S. agent or agents designated for service for accessibility.
Face to external Regulators and HTC Government Affairs Legal Team for all US Region Compliance Activities. Responds to inquiries from regulators for new features and future device functionality.
Works with HTC Government Affairs Counsel on responses to inquiries and official requests for information or questions from regulators.
Fills out and submits annual compliance certifications with regulators.
Drives and ensures new Accessibility features meet timing and compliance of new regulatory rules for all devices in the field.
Ensures compliance with FCC HAC Consent Decree criteria
Coordinates monthly Accessibility meetings.
Ensures Quarterly Outreach Criteria is met.
Ensures reporting and documentation is met within standards and requirements.
Test and documents new devices for compliance to all regulatory requirements
Manage HTC Produce Device SW Security Testing with internal security teams and SW development teams.
Ensure all products meet HTC SW Security Testing criteria for commercialization.
Work with 3rd party vendors on testing needs, criteria, and execution.
Ensure Testing and Execution meet all required government and regulatory standards and requirements.
Manage any security and privacy regulatory inquires, responses, and audits.
Device SW Security Testing
Coordinate and Work with internal DSS Team and 3rd Party Security Testing Vendor to test all new devices and verify vulnerability closure prior to launch.
Pretest and ensure privacy and security requirements met for pre-loaded apps.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required
10+ years’ experience in core product and cross functional team management
5+ years working within the telecommunications industry specific to compliance, security or accessibility
Expert knowledge with CDMA network, handset architecture, Android Architecture, Windows Mobile, UMTS, LTE and/or CDMA technologies, Bluetooth and Wifi
Expert knowledge with CDMA network, handset architecture, Android Architecture, Windows Mobile, UMTS, LTE and/or CDMA technologies, Bluetooth and Wifi
Experience working within an Agile environment with a cross functional team composed of team members from different backgrounds and cultures
Demonstrated ability to translate complex product strategies into solid implementation plans
