Director - Ad Sales - Endemol - Los Angeles


Job description

Sell ditgital media, content integration and branded content solutions, for premium content network Endemol Beyond.
Will work to identify, approach, develop, close and manage business from new and existing account.
Primary responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
Client-focused strategic / conceptual selling
Day to day selling efforts to achieve a multi-million dollar, annual team goal
Ability to create, develop and execute sales strategies and proposals
Work closely with key production and planning teams to identify and develop sales opportunities within territory
Customize sales presentations for key, target categories and accounts within territory
Review and receive approval on pricing for all proposals
Form relationships with both agency and client contacts at every level with target accounts
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for management
Maintain an average call schedule of 10 meetings per week
Travel within region is required

Desired Skills and Experience
Proven track record of 5-7 years of advertising sales experience with an emphasis on conceptual selling
Proven relationships at VP, Media Director and Supervisor level at agencies and brand managers with clients
Experience with the beauty and lifestyle category desired
Stong understanding of marketing strategies around social platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Preferred consideration to candidates with deep understanding of and experience working within the YouTube ecosystem
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical ability for strategic sales development, including interpretation of research and analysis for effective use as a sales tool
Ability to create and present promotional and programming concepts that enhance clients overall marketing and sales objectives
Superior client-service orientation
Experience in managing a team of sellers
Team oriented
