Role Summary: Director, Media Promotions, Universal Pictures will partner with the Media team to develop and produce 125+ media promotions for 18-20 theatrical film and home entertainment releases each year.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and produce 125+ media promotions for 18-20 theatrical films and home entertainment releases per year.
Directly oversee development, creative execution, and post-production finishing for all programs.
Participate in the negotiations of upfront and scatter promotional campaigns across 35+ broadcast and cable television networks annually.
Negotiate show integrations, high frequency stunts and handpicked placement of promotional inventory.
Plan and supervise all promotional talent shoots and long lead media content days with production companies, internal marketing groups, and network partners.
Manage creative and budget approvals across all promotional stunts.
Collaborate with Digital department and networks to develop and execute cross-platform ideas.
Oversee analysis models for upfront planning and post-mortem valuation on all promotional campaigns.
Coordinate department promotional material and filmmaker presentations.
Directly supervise and provide leadership for department Coordinator, Marketing Associates, and Pages.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5 years relevant marketing experience

Minimum 3 years Media promotions experience
Television, cable, and/or theatrical marketing experience
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
