Quidsi seeks a skilled Recruiting Leader who can help bring Quidsi to the next level. To meet the challenge of bringing in the best talent, in this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team of Recruiters who own world-class talent acquisition for every aspect of Quidsi’s organization, including, Technology, Retail (Merchandising, Marketing & Supply Chain), UX/Design, Operations, & General Administration (Finance, HR, etc.). The role requires partnership with Quidsi leadership to set and drive strategy, manage workforce planning and reporting, client management and talent acquisition within a client-aligned recruiting team. The ideal candidate will lead strategic recruiting efforts and facilitate change in delivering new recruiting programs. You will be responsible for managing the recruiting team members, creating and own hiring targets, and performing some high-level hands-on recruitment.
• 8+ years of Recruiting experience
• 2+ years leading a team with demonstrated managerial/leadership experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field
• Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team in a corporate environment
• Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, Internet sourcing tools, and complex spreadsheets
• Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively on all facets of the hiring process including but not limited to compensation, finance, and HR colleagues
• Workforce planning experience
• Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow between Candidates, Hiring Managers and the Recruiting team
• Technical Recruiting experience
• Demonstrated organizational skills, with a keen focus on delivering business results.
• Ability to deliver results in a dynamic and often times ambiguous environment
• Passion for placing candidates, significant experience identifying, sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing candidates at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to develop and earn the trust of others
• Experience in project management and designing effective hiring processes to meet changing business needs
• Strong interpersonal awareness
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to meet standard measurements of success for Recruiting such as: attainment against annual hiring plans, quality of hire, and cost/time to hire standards
This position is conveniently located in Jersey City, NJ, a four minute ride from the World Trade Center and just outside the Exchange Place PATH Station. Bordering the Hudson River, our offices have spectacular panoramic views of Manhattan and New Jersey.
