Chegg Marketing Services Overview:
The Marketing Services business at Chegg is an area of high growth for the company, and represents almost unlimited potential over the next five years. The group is composed of two teams – one focuses on delivering engagement marketing to colleges and universities and the other (Brand Partnerships) helps the fortune 500 with their marketing communications strategies to students.

This role is a highly visible role on our Brand Partnerships team, can be located anywhere (preferably in a major region such as New York or Chicago), and reports to the VP Business Development.

The Opportunity:
This role is to lead our in-box sampling efforts. The successful candidate will help us take a new and exponentially growing marketing communications business to the next level! Chegg ships millions of iconic orange boxes to students across the country – brands including RedBull, 3M, Microsoft, American Express, and Wrigley’s have invested to leverage these boxes to grow their brand penetration with students. We are looking for a sales leader to help us craft the right business plan for more strategic monetization, to sell the box offerings directly, through agencies, and in partnership with our direct to client existing sales team.

This sales leader will play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly growing marketing solutions business. We're looking for a high energy, passionate candidate with consultative media sales skills, a great rolodex with marketers targeting millenials, and a demonstrated ability to innovate and create new businesses.

Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four year, accredited college or university; and required minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales roles in the media sales sector, preference for sampling and/or social experience.
Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment.
Proven success with key client relationships at major national advertisers. Track record of developing relationships and non-standard solutions that have lead to long-term engagements and trust in the market.
Rolodex with marketers targeting millenials. Relationships with CPG, QSR and Retail accounts preferred.
Proficient at creating right go to market strategy for new products including sales strategy and brand positioning.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams to exceed partner expectations.
Strong communication of relevant data/metrics to management team.
Ability to work independently, multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication capabilities.
Willingness to travel.
Dynamic, flexible, hard-working and highly organized.
