Job description
Director Channel Marketing
The Director Channel Marketing is responsible for creating and executing Egnyte's channel/strategic partner programs and marketing plans. The position is a combination of both channel marketing and strategic partner marketing is measured by: execution of channel programs and promotions, partner communications, increasing partner self-sufficiency and partner revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Build and execute the channel marketing strategy, definition, implementation, and metrics.
Ensure channel sales requirements are effectively included in Channels program/offer development. Working closing with channel sales teams.
Drive program adoption by field and partners to drive Egnyte's and partner sales growth, partner enablement/success, and partner loyalty to Egnyte.
Drive program awareness, sustained adoption, and metrics through inbound/outbound marketing.
Define and develop content/tools for channel sales and partners (Resellers, MSPs, Distributors and all partners the Egnyte Channel Program).
Develop communication vehicles to keep partner informed of programs, products and important company updates.
Take the lead on setting the agenda for any partner conferences to ensure consistent messaging in each geo.
Develop the partner website so that it is useful and functional for the resellers.
Develop the "content" for the site. Ensure the content is updated, located in the right spot, useful, etc.
Drive communication about the site to all resellers. Maximize utilization of the site and knowledge about how resellers can get the maximum benefit from the site.
Execute the Channel Marketing Plan for resellers
Build a plan to invest marketing funds.
Review Resellers Marketing programs and select the best programs to participate in.
Set up the activities coordinating with the Resellers (gaining commitment from speakers, field resources, equipment, coordinate events activities (banners, tables, etc).
Measure results to ensure that we're obtaining a defined level of ROI on MDF. Ensure that the funds are being used efficiently.
Manage and enhance the deal registration process and tools for all resellers working with channel sales and channel ops.
Develop, implement and manage the Partner "on boarding" process
Develop a complete process to welcome resellers to Egnyte and expedite the time it takes to get them operating independently.
Drive competitive partner acquisition marketing programs
Develop and implement a marketing plan to recruit competitive resellers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
10+ years of experience in high technology environment focused on the enterprise customer base, preferably a networking company.
Track record of creating and implementing channel marketing programs and initiatives.
Track record of driving sales volume through the channel.
Excellent communication (verbal and non-verbal), presentation & interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a leader that can inspire people to achieve results.
Must be: Creative, a Self-starter, Team Player, Fast Learner, Detail Oriented, and Conscientious.
