Overview:

The Univision Enterprises team is looking for a Director of Business Development to source, analyze, and negotiate new non-traditional revenue streams and strategic partnerships. The person will also be responsible for acting as the main partner contact in managing current and soon-to-launch partnerships. The role will include working with internal resources, across divisions, as well as partnering with external partners to manage, track, and report performance.

Director Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate, and execute new revenue opportunities
Analyze and pitch potential partnerships including market size, competitive landscape, and financial projections
Communicate to senior management new opportunities and ongoing performance
Develop and track KPI’s on a weekly or monthly basis for current partnerships
Report results and tracking on a weekly basis during team meetings
Develop and present product plans, including budgets to stakeholders
Coordinate resources across divisions including ad sales, digital/technology, and finance to ensure project understanding and prompt deliverables
Conduct stakeholders calls to ensure business criteria is met. Set and continually manage project expectations with stakeholders. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, and presentations. Coordinate with other internal stakeholders on the launch of products

Desired Skills and Experience
Project management approach of “responsible and driving” the products versus passive ‘reporting’ on status. Results oriented personality.
Ability to organize and motivate large cross-functional teams. Ability to manage conflicting interests between teams and lead to compromise and solutions.
Strong analytical, organizational and multitasking skills
2+ years experience in business development, consulting, or other similar roles
Ability to develop, organize, track, and report KPI’s working with partners to obtain necessary data on a timely basis
Excellent written and oral communications skills with experience in translating complex tasks into clear business level understanding.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred; Business or Finance degree preferred
Media industry experience a plus
Spanish language fluency a plus
