Reporting directly to theVP, Global Process Application Management, this role provides the direction of technology, infrastructure and architecture for the Global IT Supply Chain discipline. This position is responsible for the direct management of a global team including 3 direct reports and 16 indirect reports. Reporting to the Global Director of SAP Supply Chain Applications will be the Logistics Team Manager, Manufacturing and Quality Team Manager, and the Planning and Sourcing Team Lead/Consultant. This position will also have significant interaction with the global Supply Chain Operations leadership teams in our Consumer & Industrial divisions.

The successful incumbent will act as the internal business consultant by recommending strategic projects that bring business value and provide technical expertise regarding IS Supply Chain applications’ project design, implementation and support. Additionally, the incumbent will be accountable for Enterprise process integrity to assure worldwide compatibility of all IT changes related to Supply Chain.

Key roles and primary responsibilities will include:

Acting as an internal advisor and visionary on emerging technologies by recommending strategic projects that bring business value.
Providing functional expertise for all aspects of various project’s life cycles.
Accountability for project budgets and assistance in development of value propositions of solutions.
Responsibility for calculating and auditing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) on all strategic projects.
Evaluating new applications for compatibility with current systems, technical requirements, business objectives and corporate strategies.
Facilitating Capital Planning Process for IT related business service and supply chain initiatives.
Planning for team resource utilization to maximize their value to the business.
Responsibility for communications of key IT scorecard metrics, and accountability for team-specific metrics, to drive efficiency, availability, responsiveness, and secure systems.
Accountability for Governance Structure via Steering Committee.
Proactively leading and developing talent and acting as the champion fostering a high performance environment.
Managing cost centers.
Domestic and International travel

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

Minimum 12 years of system integration or design and development required with an emphasis on and subject matter expertise in SAP Supply Chain modules
Minimum 5 years of staff leadership experience and demonstrated success developing professional staff and function’s succession pipeline required
Minimum 5 years of experience in resource and capital planning required
BA/BSc. in a Business, Technology field, or related discipline required, MBA preferred
Experience implementing , and/or upgrading versions of SAP required
Professional Certifications (PMP, APICS, SAP) preferred
Familiarity with Project Management processes and tools preferred
Multi-cultural project experience required
Superior problem-solving, strategic thinking and ability to handle complexity
Highest ethical standards and professional presence to enable communication to and influence at all levels of the organization including the), IT Global Senior leadership team. Demonstrated effectiveness in a highly matrixed environment
