Job description

Provide leadership, management, and technical vision, direction, and guidelines for the product engineering, test, and program management functions of Telkonet's product development group. This highly influential, leadership role plays an integral part of the success of Telkonet's business. The role is responsible for executing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the group. In addition, the candidate must have the ability to help schedule, manage and execute a project to meet deadlines, and cost targets plus communicate program and technical goals or issues to executive management and operations members. As a department leader, the candidate will also be responsible for evaluating final results of projects and activities to ensure accomplishment of the technical objectives. The role is responsible for selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the optimal operation of the departmental functions.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess an Engineering degree plus 10 years related experience with demonstrated abilities in product engineering; knowledge of product realization process; knowledge of design architecture; and experience with test parameters and test equipment and device or product characterization.
