Senior Director - Sales & Marketing - Sodexo - Gaitherburg, Maryland

We are currently searching for a Senior Director Sales & Marketing and the position is based out of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
As a Sales and Marketing leader in Motivation Solutions you will:
Create and develop the national brand image for Sodexo Motivation Solutions including sales presentations, collateral materials, and product offer development. Tasked with development and execution of both short and long range plans targeted towards existing and new Sodexo clients. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions, and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization.
This objective will be achieved through effective development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans, and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships, negotiate and close deals.
Coordinate liaison between sales and marketing departments and other departments.
Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quote and plan to determine effectiveness

Desired Skills and Experience
Team Management:
Recruit and develop members of the team, to achieve Company goals and objectives.
Ensure regular communication and reviews.
Strong knowledge of incentives and recognition in the US work environment
Proven track record for 10+ years in Sales or Marketing Leadership Roles
Knowledge and experience in proposal/bid management
Preference to those having sold services to human resources professionals
Experience interfacing with C-level executives
BA required and MBA Preferred
Prepaid industry experience a plus
Consultative sales experience a must
Strong Business Development capabilities
Flexibility and adaptability to rapid growth
Ability to work as an individual contributor and team leader
Belief and demonstration in Sodexo’s core values and behaviors
Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written), empathy.
Follow up and proactive competencies.
Proven relationship building, leadership and closing qualities
Demonstrate proven strengths in strategic planning, analytical abilities, selling and negotiating, problem solving
