Director, Hardware Development Manager SSD

In this position, the individual directs and manages SSD hardware development which is constructed with SSD controller, NAND flashes, DDR cache, and external peripheral; directs and manages a research or technical design function for schematic drawing, high speed PCB design, electronic part selection, components or integrated circuitry; directs and controls a mechanical system and equipment design function related with SSD drive form factor; directs and manages reliability standards pertaining to the materials and techniques used in design and production of high speed and high power consumption system; and manages all phases of a product from market definition through production and release including debugging, production support, and sustaining.

Desired Skills and Experience
This position requires MS/MBA/MA degree or equivalent with 15 or more years of related experience and 10 or more years of direct management experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent knowledge and understanding on hardware system architecture, high speed signal design, hardware logic and analog designs, NAND flash and SATA and PCIe host system interface. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of division/business unit strategic objectives and goals. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
