PM Digital is looking for an experienced Social Media Strategist to join our growing social media practice within our New York office. This Senior Director position will report to our GM of Natural Search and Social Media Services.
This individual will work with new business prospects and established clients to identify specific business opportunities, leverage findings from our RDI (Research, Data, & Insights) team and then formulate winning social marketing strategies to achieve and surpass the clients’ business objectives. They will also work with our team to upsell existing PM Digital accounts.
This position will own development of the creative brief and business development presentation and throughout the process will partner with our Creative, Relationship Managers, Practice Leads, and Business Development teams.
Responsibilities:
Building and growing our Social Media practice,
Providing thought leadership, through blog posts, speaking engagements, white papers, etc.
Collaborating within our agency leads to create cross-channel marketing strategies,
Ownership of social campaign development strategies and execution plans
Desired Skills and Experience
8+ years as brand steward and business partner to senior-level Fortune 500 clients; with at least 5 years in a senior digital strategy role
Proven ability to orchestrate large-scale programs across multiple platforms; experience in delivering integrated social marketing campaigns required
Exceptional presenter, with innate ability to identify social media opportunities with existing and prospective clients and to cultivate those opportunities into new business.
Success in presenting strategic solutions and POVs that engage consumers and build brands in the digital and social channels
Serve as partner and counselor to Creative teams; guide and provide them the support and feedback necessary to formulate winning program recommendations
The ability to work across a matrix environment and thrive in an entrepreneurial and results-oriented culture
Big picture thinker, with roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and abilities
